Michigan owner needed 96-02 4Runner

I am trying to upgrade my 99 4Runner's hood prop rod to a strut
type of system. Here is a link to a company that has introduced it for the Tacoma.

They are ready to release a similar product for the 3rd generation 4Runner-but need to test fit it to a real truck and verify how well it works and so on.

I am seeking the help of this forum to locate a Michigan 4Runner owner (REDLINE is in Dexter Michigan) who will allow Redline to install their product free of charge. I believe you are expected to provide feedback on how it fits and report any problems to them.

I am in Denver-and just about stubborn enough to drive up there myself. Please reply to this thread/contact me so I can put you in touch with the folks at Redline. I am eager to purchase their product and they are eager to release it for sale-but the fitment needs checked on a real live vehicle.

I am happy to announce a Michigan 4Runner owner has stepped up and volunteered his vehicle for a test fitment. All went well and his vehicle is now pictured on the Redline website.

The 96-2002 4Runer QuickLift system is now available for sale on their website.

Thanks to Great Lakes Land Cruisers for their assistance in locating a nearby 4Runner owner for the beta test.
