Can anyone confirm to me whether or not the MT III's will work with the 231mm TBU? Much appreciated!

I do not think the tire matters,But it depends what 16" wheel your running.

MT Classic IIIs are rims not tires.
But not sure as to the answer the ops question. You could call MT and ask them if the rims fit an 01 tundra.

Better play it safe and make sure they fit an 06 tundra. I think the 01s came with the 199s from the factory until the recall happened. Mickey Thompson may not have the updated info.

lol that made me chuckle.

I did call MT and they said they dont want to confirm or deny because of liability issues, same with procomp.

I know, based on the 'hard to find specs...' write up, the originals and II's are confirmed as fitting.

Better to ask if they fit an 05 or 06.
