Mickey Thompson Wheels

I have also been eyeing the Pro Comp 7031, which is not a hub centric wheel...this is one little detail I have never fully understood. Would these wheels still fit since the lug pattern is correct??

Any feedback would be nice, always wanting to learn!!

Thanks

It's my understanding that if you're getting an aftermarket wheels such as Procomps, that you want the lug-centric version...meaning wheels with 108mm center bore size and not 100mm.

Bandit, I remember seeing that you painted the outer ring on your wheels. I think it looks great. I have thought about doing a different color on the outer ring, how did you go about painting them?

Well, with these wheels, since the rings are actually part of the wheel and can't be removed, masking is critical. First I removed all the bolts from around the perimeter. Then I sanded the ring areas that I wanted to paint, (being careful not to scratch up the other areas.) This roughed up the surfaces for paint. Then I painstakingly masked off everything I didn't want paint on. Put a couple coats of primer, then a couple of paint, and finally a couple of clear coat. Its a long, involved process.

Good luck!
