So I have a question for you folks. I know many of you track your mileages with the old-fashioned calculator and mileage books.
I am curious as to how accurate you find this method when compared to the "Information Center" that is on the 4Runner.
I have driven quite a bit in the truck this week - just passing 1,200 miles. I have seen my mileage average range from 22 to 26 miles depending on where I am driving.
I did a trip into New Hampshire today with some very leisuirely New ENgland driving the computer read 26 MPG. I was a bit astounded with this reading - especially since I had 2 kayaks vertically strapped to the roof rack.
I had an '07 Highlander V6 4WD and the mileage was nowhere near this good, and it was rated at a higher MPG by the feds.
