I have about 2600 miles on my new V6 Sport and am pleased with the mileage. I'm getting 18-19 in town and 21-22 on the highway. The gauge in the dash which is supposed to be telling me how I'm doing is about 2MPG on the optimistic side. I have seen as high as 24MPG reading highway but when calculated using gallons put in tank vs miles driven it's always about 2MPG lower. Is this about average variance between gauge and actual?
