A few photos from the run yesterday. It turned out to be a nice sized group. Ian, Kramer, Drew, Brad and his dad, and I. 5 rigs in total. Mill Creek is a fun trail and a good one to do when you have a little time in the day. There are several old cabins up there, it crosses water twice, has a couple of good mountain views, and lots of cornering in between tall pines. There were a few good medium obstacles in the trail and lots of rocks on the outsides of the trail to crawl if you want. Ian got carnage on the trail with aftermath discovered on the way home. Seems like lube is leaking out of his front end. He also got a nice little dent in the driver's rear from a root that slid him too close to a tree. Drew got some scratches from the same tree on his fender. That tree is hungry for metal. I have to say Brad and his Dad were great to have along. You can tell he's going to be a good wheeler. On with the pics.

Somehow some Jeepers got stuck on this obstacle. They were all really cool guys and made use of a pull pal to free themselves.
It might be posh but it can still conquer the trail. This was the same section that the Jeep took a bad line on.

What's a trail run without a trail repair? Here's Brad pounding and prying his gas tank skid back away from his driveshaft.
This is what I call smart. He had safety glasses with him AND he used them. Geez, it looks like he's having fun trail wrenching lol.
This was cool
It used to be hard to get people to pause long enough to get a shot. You can tell Kramer's been wheeling with us too long. I said "hold up so I can get a photo" and Kramer, cool as a cucumber, says "ok" and then just chills.
Here's how tight it was right before a second bounce pushed him all the way into the tree.
We were trying to ballast him away but it slid and pitched. Here's a few guys still hanging on after he passed the tree. With hindsight we should have taken the hour or so to winch him sideways. Avoiding the winch time created about 3-4 hours of work to pull panels and massage the dent back out.
