a bait car is a setup for a car thief... the keys are left in the ignition and cameras are placed through out vehicle for obvious reasons. During the ensuing chase, the cops have a kill switch for the stolen car's motor, sealing the thief's fate... failure.

We get TruTV here in Gainesville, Fl.

I LOVE watching Speeders, Operation Repo, and beach patrol. I've yet to see a show called bait Car though. THAT may be a west coast entity.
