Thought I would post up my modification to the Gobi LED light bar mount to work with a single row LED light bar on my "no-rise" rack.
Problem - The LED light bar mounts that Gobi ships with the no-rise rack are the same ones they ship with the standard stealth rack that has the "raised eyebrow". They are sized well for a double row light bar mounted to the standard stealth rack, but they are too high for the no-rise. You can see in this next picture that the top of the mount sticks up about 1.5" above the top of the no-rise rack. When you add the light bar, the top of light bar is even higher still. The whole reason I bought the no-rise rack was so I could lay paddle boards or lumber flat across the rack.

Similarly the mounts that came with my Aurora single row LED light bar were too tall. Notice how high the top of the light bar sits above the mount.

I wanted to be able to adjust the angle of the LED and wanted the additional stability of the Aurora mount that uses two bolts on each side to secure the light bar, so I incorporated the Aurora mount into my design. [You can omit this step if you just want to use the Gobi mount on its own or modify accordingly for the particular OEM mount that comes with your light bar.]
Things I Used:
Gobi LED Mount
Single Row LED Light Bar [Mine was a 40" Aurora S1]
Mount that comes with your LED Light Bar [optional]
Ruler or Measuring Calipers
Hacksaw
Drill bit sized for your light bar mounting bolt
Plasti-Dip
I cut off the perpendicular "feet" of the Aurora mount as you can see in this next picture. You can see that I will need to extend the slots in the Gobi mount by about 5/8" so the bottom of the modified Aurora mount rests on the bottom of the Gobi mount. If you cut it too short, you wouldn't take advantage of the two bolt pattern of the Aurora mount as it would just pivot around the main bolt on the Gobi mount. If you cut it too long the bolts of the light bar won't rest at the bottom of the Gobi slots.

Then I extended the slots on the Gobi mount using a hacksaw and a 1/4" drill bit. When figuring out how much longer the slot needs to be, remember to leave enough space between the bottom of the light bar and the top of the bolts that attaches the mount to the rack and also the fairing brackets.

This is what it looks like with my single row light bar mounted using both the Gobi and the Aurora mounts. It's not clear in the pictures, but the bottom of the Aurora light bar mount mount is resting on the bottom of the Gobi mount.

Then I cut the top of the Gobi mount so it would sit below the top of the no-rise bar and then rounded the edges to fit my personal style.

Finally I painted the Gobi mount with Plasti-Dip so the new cuts wouldn't rust. I also sprayed the stainless steel Aurora mount to blend in.
Here's what it looks like with everything mounted. It still sticks up about 1/4" above the top of the no-rise bar, but I was too tired to do any further modifications that day.

There are other posts about how to run the wiring, so I won't detail those steps. I hope this inspires other ideas for mounting single row lights on a Gobi no-rise.
