Mini mod friday, got my lights on and B&M

HELLA 500, finally figured out how to wire them thanks to COD, turns out the switch the came with it was defective, 2$ radioshack switch later boom

ATF was dirty due to deep water crossing and the water got into the dip stick hole, change it with penzoil dex III atf and installed my B&M cooler, lol i feel cool already, trucks shifts much smoother now.

Air flow is a okay

about 3 hours not too bad at all, be careful when you cut the hoses tho i cut my self twice :whip2:

Did you just get some male to male connectors for the tranny cooler lines or did you replace the whole line from the hard line to the cooler with new line? and how much extra fluid did it take to fill the tranny with the added cooler, I have a TCI cooler that im getting ready to install but it looks alot bigger than the B&M cooler, I just need an idea on how much extra fluid I need to add if any.

yeah the whole kit comes with connectors, way easier just to cut the hoses, PITA to pull the hoses of the metal hose, just cut connect bam your good

just test drove on the freeway if i dont look at the tach i dont even know the car shifted gears so smooth

thanks man the lights are actually mounted on some beefy queen size bed frame, had to cut and drill a bit to mount the lights but cant complain its free lol

front grill is also getting painted black

well i didnt have a option after some deep water crossing mud and water got in to the tranny, the ATF was brown, so in the process of change fluids, i decide to install a tranny cooler just as insurance, gotta say money well spent, btw shop wanted 400mula to install the trans cooler with fluid change did it myself for about 90 bucks including the cooler itself, 310 dollars that is like 150 bottles of beer where i live

i think most people overthink the install process because B&M give you so much parts but really you only need zip ties and hose clamps extra hoses and 2 male to male connectors, i still have about 80% of the stuff left from the box
