Mini review: Husky Liners vs Toyota rubber mats

The lip coverage at the sill is why I went with the Husky Liners over the other options. Weathertech was a close second but having easy access to my buddy's wholesale account for Husky sort of tipped the scales in its favor. Having said that, I also had the same issues with the lips getting distorted in shipping. With it being late November when they arrived, temperatures were already freezing so it took a few minutes of soaking up the heat gun before they would conform to the sill. Even then it didn't quite fit right until the weather warmed up. No issues now that is been in for a few months.

Owned Husky mats for my 2015 Trail for awhile and never had an issue. They do the job of protecting interior carpet from dirt and fluids

I recently bought some YITAMotor on eBay. It’s made out of TPO/TPR Thermo Plastic Rubber. It’s firm but flexible and has a rubber feel to it. Anyway, I’m very happy with it. Your feet don’t slip when getting in and out of the car even when it’s a little wet and it’s half the price of a Wheathertech.

I have had Husky liners in all my vehicles dating back to the late nineties. They have always offered superior fit and finish. I bought my ex weathertechs for her subaru and they were equally nice, but didn't have as much coverage or as much of a lip to hold in liquids as the Husky liners do. I replaced the Toyota all weather rubber mats in my 4Runner and never looked back. The OEM don't compare to the protection Husky liners offer

I like them a lot. As I said earlier they have a rubber feel to them and your feet don’t slip. The sides also come up high. So you don’t have to worry about liquids if you spill something. I also like that the front area near the gas pedal comes up very high so your foot is not rubbing on the carpet.

I had the same problem with the husky lip curling in my subaru. It’s terrible. They wouldn’t give me a refund, though.

I'm going on 5 years now with maxpider set. They're basically a nicer version of the husky/weathertech. They're a semi-rigid plastic but have a velcro like bottom and either rubberized or carpet top. So they're not loud, slippery, or hard plastic feeling. And they don't slide around. I like the new OEM ones, probalbly what I'd buy now. But if you want a more carpet look and feel - maxpider have held up really well for me for 5 years.

I take them out and pressure wash regularly at the carwash and they still look like new.

I only have the front set. I looked for a picture of the second row, but I haven't found one online of the 2nd row in place. However... I ended up ordering the 2nd row set for my 4runner. In the first 5 years I owned my 4Runner I probably used the 2nd row about 10 times total for seating. Lately I've been using it more for people.

They have a few different styles. I haven't seen the carpet ones in person - but that's probably what I'd get if I didn't use my 4Runner for a utility vehicle so much and didn't get it as dirty.
