I decided to do a mini tune-up the other day. Cleaned MAF sensor (it was a little dirty), replaced air filter and plugs. Removed Denso K20HR-U11, installed NGK LFR6C-11. My Lie-O-Meter now says that I'm getting about 2 MPG better than before. I will have to verify during the next fill up. BTW, the Denso's looked perfect! All 6 were the perfect color, no evidence of any problems. Maybe because I only use Top Tier regular gas? I bought my truck with 100000 on it, and did all this at 133000 since I wasn't sure when it was done. Obviously, the prior owner(s) took good care of it. I was told that it was a fleet car. Also, the plug change was very easy, no need to remove any brackets, only had to remove a vacuum hose to get to the coil pack bolt for cylinder 4.
