minum shaft girth.....for end links.

going to make my own end links from some hemi's, save me a bit of math and looking around please? what size of all thread are people using for the vertical shaft and what size shank fits through the control arm or whatever?

12 mm will fit the holes that are there
or a quick drill out will fit 1/2 inch
