mirror in the back??

what are the two mirror in the back for? was looking at 2004 4runner the other day and noticed them.

checking blind spots while switching lanes and checking if its clear when backing out of parking spaces. or at least thats what i use em for

Whether or not your truck has the mirrors depends on the stereo system. If you have an upgraded stereo system, you have speakers there instead of the mirrors.
Personally, I wanted the mirrors. They can be useful when backing out of a parking space, especially if something like a big van is parked next to you.

I absolutely love my rear mirrors!

I use them all the time when backing out of parking spots or when backing out of the garage at my apartment complex.

I can be over 3-feet into my garage and can still use the mirrors to see what is going on to the left and right of my garage. They are really excellent.

My 4R's in the body and I'm driving 2007 trailblazer, man, how I miss those mirrors when I'm backing with this ride.

Unless there is a rear camera available, i'll always find those mirrors an excellent idea.

The mirrors are still very handy. The camera is good, but I use the mirrors much more.
