Misfire after rain issue.

My 98 develops a bad misfire after a good rain. Something is getting wet. I cannot find anywhere seeping may occur. I've tried parking front end uphill, front end downhill, and every possible configuration. After starting and letting it idle awhile it clears up and drives just fine. Sure would like to figure this out.

Check the wires and coil, coil boots are in good shape.

All good.
Just don't know where/how the rain gets into the engine compartment.

Think condensation! doesn't have to get hit with rain. Dielectric grease is your friend.

check connectors to coils and coils to wires and injectors..... as said above...dielectric grease.

I had a coil pack slowly fail with similar symptoms, had misfires on cold starts that seemingly went away after a short idle. Eventually they didn't go away and it threw a code.
