Here is my rant. It is lengthy, but I had to give a back story. So I had a big missed opportunity this last week. Well for background information, my girlfriends moms boyfriend (a mouth full) is the owner of a Toyota dealership here in Santa Cruz. He gets to drive any Toyota he wants for 5,000 miles then goes back in for a new car. I'm super jealous about this because I would be driving 5th gens, 4th gens, Tacomas, Tundras and FJs all over the place. Of course he drives the prius, camry and Venzas. He owns one car and it is an old VW Thing. Really random. He basically just owns it, along with some other major places here, so he's not too involved and doesn't really pay attention to all the details.
Now onto this last week. Well I had know that he and my girlfriends mom were going to Las Vegas this last week for a few days. Wasn't sure why, but figured it had to do with some other business. Well it is their last night there and my girlfriend informs me that they were there for a Toyota trade show. Basically every Toyota Dealership owner is there and the president of Toyota. They get to see all the new Toyota models and changes for the couple years. Booths specific to the vehicles and basically everything you could imagine.
I'm bummed I missed out on this especially since my girlfriends mom is complaining that she has to go. She wanted to stay home. I could have taken her ticket and been in Toyota heaven. I could have given my 2 cents about the TE not available in Blizzard Pearl and get some good inside information about the upcoming models. It would have been amazing. Sadly all I got from it was a Toyota hat. I told her that the next time he has one of those things, I want to be invited. Sorry about the rant, but I new this forum would most likely appreciate my frustration.
