Missing factory skid plate?

Hi all. I've recently become the happy owner of a 99 4Runner Limited, and I have a question for anybody familiar with this model & year:

What is the full list of all factory skid plates / underbody armor? I have a feeling I'm missing a piece. On the driver side there's some sort of a 10in x 50in (approx.) plate, starting behind the front wheel. There's no such plate on the passenger side. Am I missing something? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

This plate may be covering the fuel cell. Of course if thats the case you wouldn't really need one for the other side. Just a hunch.

The plate you speak of is just a flimsy little piece under the auto tranny. There is no corresponding piece on the passenger side. Look at a 5 speed sometime and you'll see they don't have that plate at all.

Hey pat161 don't you think 10x50 in. is kind of long for an auto tranny?

You can scrap the idea that it covers the fuel cell. I don't know what it is.

Seems long but if you look you will see that the skid in question ends shortly after the auto tranny, that and the fact that 5 speed 3rd gens lack this plate leads me to say it is for the auto.

It's just a splash guard to deflect water and light debris while on the highway;I tore mine off while wheeling last summer.

it must be something for the auto trannie. I have a 5speed and the ony skids are on the front, on the oil pan , and on the gas tank.
