I made a bonehead move the other day and assumed that my 3.0 needed 5w-30 when I did the oil change. Get home with the oil and see 10w-30 on the cap. :redbrick: Didn't really bother me at first, but my oil pressure gauge is reading pretty low. I have read that they are normally low anyway, but this can't be helping. So I was wondering if I could drain the oil, but leave the filter and refill with 10w-30? There would be a little "mixation", but I don't want to throw away a 200 mile filter and pay for a new one.
