I could be wrong so don't quote me on this, but the 03-05 4th gen grilles are different than the 06-09 models. I don't think the headlights would have any role in how the application would fit. Again I could be wrong, but seeing how the 06-09 have that top "lip" or whatever you'd call it, I don't think it would fit on the 03-05 models. Hopefully someone with more experience can chime in and give their input, but to my knowledge I don't think that's a possibility.
On another note, they have stated that they are currently working on grilles for the 03-05 4th gens!

I do love the way these look, and the quality looks great. I'd love to see one of these in person. I think I am going to attempt my own though. I like the round hole option, which you can get from Home Depot online, and I still have friends that work at Toyota dealerships for the emblems, but I might change it up a bit to avoid any "copywrite" infringement. Great work though MJT. No joke.

I'm pretty sure you can order it primered only and then color match it yourself. That would look solid.
Im more North in the Powell/ Merchants rd area. I need to hook up with my club and go on some rides, but I will more than likely take my Jeep ZJ I built over my T4R as its just a daily haha.

i ordered mine primer and had a buddy, who professionally paints, shoot some paint on it one weekend. It is just white though, im sure you were looking for something with more color as an example lol. I just installed the grille about a week ago and get lots of compliments.

Is there anyway to get a satoshi grille for the 03-05 runners? I took mine off and it looks like it would be a pain in the ass to mod. Will and 06 grille fit in an 04? If yes will I have to get 06 bumper/headlights as well? Please help. I love this truck and at the end of the day it isnt a big deal, but the satoshi look is awesome.

An 06 grill will not fit an 04 without modification. I'm not sure what all is involved with modifying. I'm sure there is a thread somewhere on the forum that shows how to do it. Maybe and Michael a PM and see if hed be interested in making a few for the 04-05 crowd.
