I used to buy Mobil 1 @ Costco for $24 for 6 quarts and it went up to $28. So I thought about the $4.49 and I remembered someone posting here about WalMart selling their 5 quart container cheaper so I didn't buy it. I hope WalMart doesn't go up.

My local Wal-Mart is more than that for the 5-quart jugs now...

I picked up 12 quarts of M1 at Pep Boys today for the $4.49 price.

I detest Wal-Mart but I picked up my last 5 quart jug for $18.99 and that's the only thing I buy there.

I am with you there, bro'!! I am a shareholder of Wal-Mart and lately I am less and less satisfied with that place. Cleanliness, competent employees and overall customer service just ain't what it used to be.


Me thinks Sam Walton is turning over in his grave!

But anyway, regarding Mobil-1 oil, Costco usually has pretty good deals on the six-quart cases. It was about $21 if memory serves me correctly. The only drawback to Costco is that they don't offer all of the different weights (only 10w-30, I think), and they do not stock any oil filters.
