Mobile Angel removal

Hi guys. I bought my 2005 4Runner brand new from Melody Toyota in San Bruno, CA (20 mins south of San Francisco). At the time, they offered a service called "Mobile Angel." It is a GPS version of Lo Jac which the dealer installed. At the time they told me they "couldn't disclose" where they installed the unit due to "security reasons." Since then, Mobile Angel has gone out of business and the unit sits there, probably still sending out a GPS signal every so often. The problem with this is, obviously, it kills my battery. After not starting the car for 3 to 4 days, the battery is drained. I just returned from a 7 day cruise and didn't start the car for 8 days. I had a 34 series Yellow Top Optima in there, but it got so drained it will not hold a charge. Back to a brand new stock Toyota 27 series battery and I don't want it to suffer the same fate. Please help me locate the old GPS unit and remove it so I don't waste any more $$$! Thanks for all the help.

It's under the dash somewhere. There's not much room for it anywhere else. I bet it is tucked up high above the steering column. Is there an extra antenna that doesn't belong on the truck. There has to be an antenna somewhere to send out the GPS signal. Find that and trace the wires back.

I can help u find it maybe, look behind glove box or under center console or by kick panels. U might see it behind the speedo maybe.
