Mobile1 "LS" gear oil. Is it safe to use?

My local Auto Zone has Mobile1 "LS" 75/90 synthetic gear oil.
They do not sell the regular non LS Mobile1 75/90 synthetic.
The bottle claims its safe to use in all differentials; limited slip and non limited slip.
Any you guys seen this product before?
Is it safe to use in the V8 4WD rear non-posi, t-case and front case?

Most definitely!
I am getting ready to do my front and rear diffs and transfer case.
Was trying to decide between the 75W-90 or the 75W-140.
I decided the 75W-90 will be more than adequate.

I recently emailed Longo Toyota's "Ask a tech" the exact same question.
Their response was,

"Thank you for using our "Ask a tech" Forum. We do not recommend using anything but genuine Toyota fluid in main part of the vehicle, excluding the engine."


So the LS additive will not harm a non-posi unit?

It;s quite obvious that a dealer would recommend their (Toyota's) fluids.

Yes, it is 100% a-ok to use it the the diffs and t-case.

I recently used Mobil 75/90 LS in my Diff, and all is ok! Smooth and no problems! Very easy to do yourself.
