My 1989 v6 sr5 4runner has a factory decal that says "XJapan" does anyone have a clue what thats all aboot?

it is silver and on the back tailgate i dont have a digital camera yet so i cant take a picture. but it is on the black licence plate area but i cant remember because the runner is in the shop getting fixed.

on the black bar that says toyota on mine says "XJapan" before toyota

Sounds like something a pervious owner may have stuck on.

Like those "Type R" stickers the ricers stick on everything.

I will have to take a good look tomarrow when i put the new feul pressure regulator on, But I'm almost positive its in the plastic.
