Modifications for overseas-tropicalizing

I'm headed overseas (Manila) with my 2010 Mag Grey SR5 and am planning on some modifications, including 'tropicalizing'. I'm also considering a one peice grill guard and a hitch step to keep the crazy bus drivers off. So, I've really got 2 questions for the experts here:

1) Any advice for "tropicalizing" a '104R? What to get done, specifically?

2) Any suggestions for grill guard, step, roof rack and running boards that look BEST on a Mag Grey? I've seen so many pics on here of add ons that don't look quite right.

Might want to invest in ANTI-THEFT everything. That will be a rare vehicle in that area.

Nothing, the T4R is already sold in HI, Puerto Rico, Panama, Dominican Republic and mybe more Central America countries. There is nothing especial about them other that the heater is not used, lol. Rustproofing is a good idea but then again this is good for any place near the ocean/ southeast US.

The close cousin of our 4Runner is sold everywhere else on the planet as the Landcruiser Prado. I suspect many parts will interchange, as will some parts with the HiLux pickup from Toyota that the rest of the world enjoys.

4Runners used to be sold in Australia as well - if you're in the Philippines and need weird stuff like snorkels, I am sure they'll be the first to dream that stuff up.

I'd like the common rail diesel engine they sell over there for my 4Runner here ... mmmm ... sexy.

Keep it lifted and watchout for some flooded areas when it's raining, especially in low places. Most of all secure your T4R at all times and your spare tire too.
