MODs / replacment stuff on my 99 SR5

I am new to the site, and it is a huge help just trying to find some new things to do. huuuugee help. great site



DONE:


LED light strip w/switch under headlights

took apart corroded fog lights, replaced bulbs, cleaned out harness, and remounted

fog lights as running light mod

replaced all dash and dome lights

repainted running boards

brought digital dash clock back to life

new super white halogen headlight bulbs


NEXT ON MY LIST:


12V Triple trumpet hella air horn install

maybe LED dash/dome lights

deck plate mod

Paint rims black

low profile sub mount in jack compartment in rear

replace stock speakers



basically just looking on the site for some easy but improving mods.. any other suggestions?

1st with just the LED strips on

2nd close up of placement

3rd fogs with LEDs

4th just the fogs

5th fogs with headlights

6th closeup on bulb (looks blue but comes out a nice white)

7th placement of LED light strip switch (not a very clean hole, but it gets the job done)

8th working power antenna replacement


i am going to take some more pics tonight of the lights in the dark.

if any other requests feel free to ask.

Looks pretty decent man! Just an FYI, you can get some factory style switches off E-bay or from the dealer instead of the switch you have right now...and it will look more like a factory option.....

looks good but ditch that fog light switch. the OEM Toyota fog light switch is only $12. It will look clean.

these are the lights at night. obviously they look better in person but you get the idea.

and on the second to last two pics it is just to show how much whiter the headlights are than the stock orangy color of the fogs. which were the same as the old headlights (brights and normal) the very last one is right after installation

that homemade switch is actually for the LEDs, the fog light switch is on the blinker lever with the headlights. but thanks for the idea, i will look into that.

got it. the OEM switch will work for any circuit so you are good to go with the replacement. I use it for my PIAA lights.
