Mods that Void the Warranty?

When I purchased my 06 last year I got the extended warranty to 100k miles. There are so many things I want to do to it already but I don't want to void my warranty, especially when I paid so much for it to begin with!

So, things I want to do include suspension (probably the FJ swap, maybe with a spacer), HIDs, exhaust and others. I had no second guesses about doing these to my last t4r but it was all paid up and out of warranty by the time I did them.

So, looking for feedback on what mods might void the warranty so I can avoid those for now. It'll give me things to look forward to and good gift ideas for my T4Rs 100k mark. I'm only at 42k so I've got a few years of waiting and I'm not sure I'll be able to!

the warranty can only be voided if you do something which DIRECTLY contributes to the part in question failing.

Agreed with the addition that they have to be able to prove that the mod caused the failure. This also is up to the discresion of the service manager handling your truck. The more you get to know one, the better off you are.

that's good to hear. Just ordered vent visors and scheduled to get my tails tinted tomorrow so I'll have to wait a bit for the next mod but I'm thinking FJ suspension swap or maybe swaybar bushings first. it's time to do something that isn't mostly visual!
