It's getting crazy, so far I haven't gone over $50 on a single fill up, of course I have the puny gas tank. I heard over $4 this summer, good thing the motorcycle comes out in a month or so.

Yeah, but last year they said the same thing and it never materialized.

I live near you and gas at BJ'S Wholesale Club is about $3.09 on Sunday.

We are in this for the long haul as long as we have no new refineries, speculators push the oil price, every state has 8,000 different additives in their gas, and we keep Ethanol in the gas which increased the cost of gas significantly due to corn prices going through the roof. (Gotta love socialism).

Haha I hear that! A motorcycle is the perfect partner to the 4runner. What do you drive?

Last year it wasn't 3.81 in April. I had about 3 teaspoons of gas left and when I saw that sign I said, and I quote "someone's out of their mind", so I promptly drove onward to the next gas station which was 3.79. Man... I really hope gas goes down soon!

Edit - I'm in norcal, and I didn't look, but the final price was just under 80 I believe.

Spent $57 the other day to fill my 4Runner with just about 17 gallons of fuel. Price per gallon is currently $3.359.
Could be worse I guess. Diesel around here is $4.379 per gallon.

Should be interesting to see what happens to fuel prices in May when the traditional start of the "summer driving season" begins.

Time will tell.
 
i'm around $63-65 per fill up, and i have to do that twice a week. this is getting ridiculous! i might have to by a motorcycle too! anyone know a good starter bike?

TOTALLY AGREE!!! During the past few weeks (when not raining), I force myself to ride to work (conservative commercial bank... gotta wear a suit... haha). Been saving a bit on gas but the moto gets only about 25 mpg. Regular unleaded is up to about $3.80 in L.A.

BTW, she's a 2004 Honda CBR 600RR (oh check out my sig)
 
cost me $67 for 15.5 gallons @ 3.99 for 91 on this last fill up. each tank only last for 3 days.

Thanks to California weather. I been on my bike (GSXR750) lately too. $15 for 4 days! yay! at this rate I can buy another bike soon to add to the stable (GSXR1000).

Gas sucks, I am going to go Foot power!

I got rid of my R1 last summer and I'm in the process of getting a triumph speed triple.

Also I just filled up at shell @ $3.55 and it cost me $50 and some change. That's the most it's cost me to fill up but it was also the most mileage I got out of the tank 308 because of my trip to MI.

I don't have to wear a suit but I still have to look decent slacks and a tie, I work in Finance so I also have to be carefull about what days I choose to ride my bike to work

I just wear my suit pants and a t-shirt under my leather jacket with my dress shoes on my commute to work. I change in to my button down and tie when I get to work and I always have a suit jacket laying around for those "emergency" meetings. :D
 
Yeah I fill up with a 1/4 of a tank left and I still spend $50+ dollars! :awais:

I've been riding in as much as possible to save on gas. Luckily this new job is kewl with jeans as it makes it easier on wardrobe choices.
