Monroe Quick Strut Front Coils?

The PO of my 4Runner did everything with OEM parts, except for the suspension. He had NTB put on a set of Monroe Quick Struts. When I look up the Part #, it shows the same quick strut for all models of 4Runner, regardless of 2wd/4wd or 15/16" wheels. I know there are like 5 or 6 different front springs from 1996-2002.

Does anyone have specs on the springs that come on the Monroe Quick Struts? I can't find anything on their tech info other than "coil rates correspond to OEM coil rates" - which is of course a lie...

I'm ready to throw the struts in the garbage, but wondering if it's worth it to keep the springs. I plan to get a set of Edelbrock shocks and some AC Delco 99 Tall springs for the rear.

For the front I just don't know what to do. Should I just throw the whole strut out and get new KYB tops mounts too, or just use the Monroe Quickstrut mounts and get new springs and struts? I'm ready to pull the trigger in the next few weeks....Thanks so much!

The monroe quick struts I hate. I would not recommend anyone use those quick struts on the 3rd gen 4runners.

My originals were done so I put those one. Was disappointed from day one. Poor quality in my opinion.

I just installed AC Delco talls front and rear with KYB shocks. Very happy with the ride and the extra height.
If the top hats look good, I would reuse them and replace the shocks and springs.

Monroe is pretty crap imo. I’d pitch it all out and start over.

Exactly the kind of feedback I'm looking for. Do you mind doing Hub to Fender measurements?

I have a feeling 99 Talls in the front won't actually net me any lift over the Monroe Springs, which is totally fine, but I do want a slight rake, so I may end up adding the 20mm Trim Packers to the rear depending on what the measurements end up at.

I'll have to check the measurements tomorrow after work. I never got around to checking the before and after.
I'm guessing I got about 1-1/2" lift front and rear.

I installed the Monroe Quick Struts on mine. Mine was kinda low being a 2000 and the quick struts raised it about an inch in the front. I think the springs are fine but the struts don't dampen any better than the old OEM ones.

I finally got around to measuring hub center to fender. I wish I would have measured the before.
FL = 21.5" FR = 21"
RL = 21.25 RR = 21"

This is with 1/4 tank of fuel and no driver (Me).
