Monstaliner!

This stuff looks good and is tough as nails. If you know my rig then you know about the Herculiner. The flares and mirrors faded/spotted down to base paint in only one year with 3 coats. Lucky bumper got 4! It's holding up.

So my buddy buys a Heep Cherokee XJ and rolls it in this "new" stuff Monstaliner do-it-yourself roll-on truck bed liner. It looks good in Desert Sand

So it's not as grainy/grippy as Herculier. I want to murder my shit out. Just black! Maybe OD Green? Maybe Orange? If you have Skills, feel free to mod a pic and show me the colors! All I have is a printer and a black pencil! Just for instance, this is m limit

I have no idea what you said in the 2nd paragraph there.

I thought it was just me.

I used the Monstaliner on my rocker panels last November and i really like it. Its not rough like the other brands but has great texture. And they tell me its UV stable so it wont fade.

That XJ is completely Monstalined? Looks really good. I dunno about OD green on your whole truck but up to you lol. You should roll it in their color called "Jeep Spice" LOL!

I do like the desert sand though. Hopefully someone can do some photoshopped pics of some different colors.

I like the last two pics. The others look like a pea-green/baby puke. I think the darker the green, the better. Jon's got those black and chrome wheels though, might look a little weird.

You have been in California for less than a month right?, and your already sounding like you were from East Oakland lol Soon you will be throwing in "Hella"

"Jon is asking for someone who knows how to use Photoshop to take one of his pictures and color his 4runner Matte OD Green or Matte Orange or Matte Black"

I vote for Orange and Black but thats just because I have my giants hat on right now.
If you want to go for the military look I would do a Sage, Rocky terrain camo color

Orange and black is like, OMG, my fav color combo! HA!

Apocalypse orange with black bumpers and sliders might look good. Still open to suggestions.

I'm still partial to the all black look.

The OD green looks "hella" good on the one with the Jerry cans

don't think hella sounds right coming from you, try smoking more pot and quitting your job, then try it.....haha j/k, used to say that alot as a kid...is it a west coast thing?

Digging the OD Green pics with the Jerry Cans.
Hella, is definitely a West Coast/ Cali thing ( don't know about Wash/ Org?)
I was stationed in Petaluma and most of us happened to be from the South, and the rest were all Cali Kids. They used to say that all the time. When I got stationed in San Pedro, and lived in Long Beach, FREKIN" EVERYONE SAID IT!!! Drove me up the wall it was so over used. I used to get asked what country I was from when I lived in SoCal?!?! Ya'll ain't right over 'der! LOL! J/K!

I used durbak roll on paint. Alot thicker than that stuff your using

I also used durabak on my hood and rocker panels and so far it has held up really well. It is definitely a lot thicker and is more texturized than most other roll on bed liners.

I had a buddy paint his subaru with aircraft paint. Might want to check that out too. He's got the older wagon, like an 88, with a 6" lift and some 30" duratracs. Looks pretty sweet. He also looked into submarine paint. Has a 50 year guarantee :jaw:

i believe the original selling point was that it WASN'T textured as much as some of the others. i requested a few sample chips from monstaliner a while back. tough stuff. and they offer it in a whole bunch of colors. you could absolutely do an ivan stewart scheme, in liner
