MOOG FJ springs

Who here has used the MOOG FJ springs the RockAuto sells?

I'm seriously thinking about do the FJ spring\5100 swap but don't want to search around for a set of used FJ springs especially when the MOOG springs are cheap and easily available. RA also has Raybestos "Professional Grade" FJ replacement springs but I'm not sure what they may offer to justify twice the price of the MOOG springs?

I know from a recent thread the MOOG springs do not look like the factory FJ springs but I also know when talking springs, looks doesn't really mean much.

So if anybody here has actually used the MOOG (or Raybestos) springs, I would like to know what your experience was in regards to lift and ride improvement?

IIRC [MENTION=80364]bradentyrer[/MENTION] has them. finding FJ springs isn't as hard as you think, i stay up to date with the FJ cruiser classifieds and there are like 5 sets of 4 springs for sale currently

But I'm thinking why buy used from an unknown seller when I can get brand new ones from a trusted seller for the same price if not cheaper?

The only unknown for me is will the MOOG's offer the same advantages as the factory springs?

that was the main question when he bought the moogs, but i think he ended up pretty happy with them

Thanks for the links. Sounds like the MOOG's will yield closer to a 2" lift in the rear?

thats what he had experienced, i think they were taller than actual fj springs in the rear
