Moonroof no longer auto opens or closes

Makes a sorta clicking sound and continues trying to open or close further even when it’s fully open/close rather than stopping. Also one touch auto open and close doesn’t work anymore; have to hold it.

Hoping this is something cheap and easy fix. Any ideas?

I have the same issue I've been passively trying to sort out for a few years but I just eventually stopped using it. You can try resetting/re-initializing it to see if that solves your issue (it didn't for me).

There's also a TSB for the moonroof, I did that but it didn't help. My next step is to remove, clean and re-install it all, similar to what another forum member did, I've just had too many other priorities to dig into it.

reinitializing didn’t help for me. Sorry forgot to mention I tried that. What is TSB???
