So i want to start with a small background...
about 3 months ago i listed my 05 streetbike for sale on craigslist wanting to either trade it for or sell it to by a 4x4 jeep. it was worth maybe $1800... well after many discouraging (yet often common to craigslist) offers, i received a text asking if id be interested in trading for a 4runner. before this text i had no idea what a 4runner was.... after doing some research online (which introduced me to your wonderful site), i realized i would definitely be getting the better half of the deal... little did i know my entire life was about to be changed!:bravo:

to say the least running into this site inspired me to hold onto this one for once and see what thee ol 4runners had to offer... to say the least i am all but in awe to date...so without further adieu, lets begin...

97 4runner limited 4x4.
217,000 miles.... sshhhh.....
slight cosmetic damages include missing rear half of flair on rr side, passenger mirror casing, and dent in front bumber.

lets keep in mind i pretty much paid $1500 for this thing.

lmao actually the second day i got her i hauled in a load of scrap metal that weighed just under 2 tons on a 18ft utility trailer... seeing as i was gonna be using her as my truck i figured she deserved to be ranked as a truck so i got them made!!!

tomorrow after work i plan on taking some pictures of the freshly tinted taillights and corner markers :thumb3: and some pictures of the final touches on my homemade snorkel... why spend $300 when i can build it for $40? i will also be removing the running boards since they proved to be in the way during my last offroading adventure... :redbrick: should have pics up by tomorrow evening!!

Haha I've been wondering what dual antenna's would look like, and now I know :D

Thats one hell of a unique rig you got there moonshine. Almost looks like a Toyota/Peterbilt hybrid :D I like it. Keep up the good work. :thumb3:

Good lookin rig you got there, I'm excited to see some forum members hopefully tomorrow if this rain lets up.

long time no see

so i havent been on the board for quite some time now but after many mods and much planning for my next mods i continually run into this site while searching my plans. so clownmeats turbo 3rd gen peaked my interest and i decided to go ahead and try it. many parts already ordered. also the rig has sat on 35s and a 6 in lift for awhile now but the 37s just got here along with the new 18in **** cepek dc2s... many picks in the next few days.

IM BACK!

Wow, 37s? i hear that the 4runner cant handle it... only gy i know that had one on IFS (well he had a tacoma drop bracket) was FlexINC and he said it wasnt really good bc it was causing alot of strain on the motor and transmission.

If it doesnt cause any problems then thats great but either way its gonna so beast with 37s under it!

the only reason the tires are not currently installed is because i have to put the 5.29 gears in!
and the reason the gears arent in is because im waiting for my locker to get here before i open the rear axle. pics soon!
