I know there are already some pics from the Texas State Fair posted, but I'll add the ones I shot on 9/30/09 anyway...their quality isn't great, thanks to my less-than-perfect :AK47: camera phone. I apologize in advance!

I'm the very satisfied owner of a 03 T4R, but am in the market for a replacement, and the timing is about right with the 2010 announcement. So I was very interested in seeing the vehicle first hand, and sitting in it, and "touching" it. I hate to say it, but I left with the feeling that it is probably not my next vehicle to purchase.
I like the exterior look of the new models. I sat in and explored all three vehicles on the display: the SR5, Trail and Limited. But that "plastic" feeling still prevails, and bothers me.
I also sat in the two FJs they had there, along with various Tundras, and Sequoias (can you say "bulk"??).
BTW, the Toyota truck folks at their outside display venue were the worst of any of the car manufacturer reps at the Auto Show...I spent nearly 3 hours touring vehicles outside and inside two huge Fair buildings: the Toyota SUV section, Lexus, Nissan, Hyundai, Subaru, Jeep and a host of domestic brands. I apparently was invisible, as about 5 of the Toyota truck reps spent the whole time I was there chatting amongst themselves!! On the contrary, the Toyota reps working the SUV and cars inside were very knowledgeable and did a fantastic job of helping/explaining features, prices, etc.
Chevy is the official car of the Fair, and their displays, and vehicles, and employees, were EVERYWHERE....I thought GM was on the verge of bankruptcy!
