More Chrome or More Black?

I recently started adding some mods to my 4runner and I'm in a bit of a dillema. Currently, I've added some new rims and chrome to my front grille. My question is do I continue with the chrome upgrades (I.e door handles, mirrors, etc.) OR do I start debadging, smoking and blacking everything out? Any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Also, does anyone have any suggestions for exhaust upgrades? I'd like to make my truck sound meaner :P

I've been thinking about that but the only problem is that it's illegal in Ontario. haha But Ill look into a light smoke. Thanks for the advice. Or the other option I was looking at was buying new headlights with a black housing.

i didnt mean covering them, u mean its illegal to paint the chrome part of the lights black?

I would for sure black out the headlights. just my opinion but I wouldn't chrome the doorknobs or anything else for that matter,it looks like a tough offroad vehicle now and I think if you start chrome it may look a little ghetto.

^X2 Chrome is terrible, I have gone out of my way to remove every piece of chrome on mine! Magnaflow exhaust has worked well so far for me. With the wheels you have you are definitely going to want to black out the headlight housings.

I don't think it's terrible in moderation. I guess only my grill and emblems are chrome. I wouldn't add a drop more of it to be honest. I also am not a fan of debadging a car. Call me old school I guess. A 4Runner is not an Escalade so I'd leave what you got, get those healights done, and for me, I don't care for the molded side steps. (not a huge deal tho and does protect the paint.)

Okay thanks! I couldnt find those threads haha. Do you think blacking out the housing or buying some projectors with a black housing is better? I've been looking at some projectors on Ebay. Is installation easy on headlights?
 
More Black...definitely
and I agree with the others.....the light output is pretty dim u lose like 40% ....thats why I got me some Aux lights. I do like the look of them tho. But I still have my stock for when I get tired of the Halo projectors .
 
black em out urself or send em to bowtie3, u could also buy a set off ebay & have them sent straight to him. easy for some of the younger guys, can be a little of a pita for old folk like myself,
