More Engine Trouble. Kill me now.

I assumed you checked the other two sparkplug tubes on the drivers side for water too. If not, also check those. Dry any moisture found.

Hosing down an engine with the garden hose, is generally a bad idea, as electrical connectors can get water in them, and cause a short. Water can also corrode the contacts in those connectors. The connectors are generally water resistant, but they don't always seal as well as you would like.

If checking and drying the sparkplug wires and coils doesn't solve the issue, I'd start checking all of the electrical connectors in the engine bay for moisture.

Had the same happen to a member here too, i dried it out with an air blower, some dielectric grease and viola

What do you do for work?

Glad to hear it worked out... Sure wouldn't want to be in your shoes. :(

I'm cart boy at a local golf course.

Another issue that has been happening due to this hosing of the engine bay. Every time I do a cold start it just clicks, click click click click. And then randomly it will start.

damn dude you sure have bad luck with this engine, i hose my engine all the time never ran into problem like this, shit my engine was under water and it still ran fine.

Water and electrics do not mix; some dielectric grease in the boot goes a long way. Good to hear it is fixed.

I have played Ocean Hills CC outside of Carlsbad as well as Oceanside and Vista Valley. My buddy was a controller at the last two I mentioned. Quite nice to play. Long Par 3s.

Watch out for Judge Smails, Mr. Wang, Al Czervick, and Dr. Beeper on the course. If Lacy Underall makes any advances, take full advantage of them.

6' 2" 160 pounds, you mad bro? :P

I'll just make sure I park down hill from now on...

Just switch out the contacts, its like 10 bucks. it will gradually get worse. mine did. and don't get a new starter, toyota starter last longer than the truck, its the contacts that gets worn out
