So I brought my Vehicle to the stealer, with my on going issues that are probably completely unnecessary and should have been solved a long time ago.
My 4wd light has been flashing this time and before I had a used differential installed because of the ring and pinion going out.
The dealer said my issue now is either the actuator in the transfer case (2000), or they did not set the shifting forks right at the place before. Upon doing research I have also seen info on the front diff actuator, that looks like it could be the issue. Is there any way I can check this easily?
To me, two parts of an almost bullet proof 4wd system (Ring and pinion and transfer case actuator) simultaneously failing seems like it is a little bit far fetched. Does this sound like a fair assumption? My thought is there is something wrong with either the differential they installed or the way they installed it.
Any one have any insight or ideas? I am sick of not having my 4wd working :ybrick:
