more rear window trouble

one of the arms of for putting up the rear window has broken off, and i would like to know the name of the piece and approximately how much does it cost, and if possible, i can put a new one on my self without much trouble.

this is what i need. As you can see, my repair manual is missing the pieces name.

Parts like that will be special order from the dealer.
They can give you the cost.

I have the same problem, i cut out the rust and cleaned
the part and where it mounts then i used good adhesive to
put it back. its just a bandad for now but its been there for 4mo. let me no how much the part costs thanks

i would go to a junk yard, if i am not mistaken, they rear window pieces like that should all be the same at least that piece. so yea maybe 20 bucks

i agree thats why i sad a junk yard. a man at my church owns one and lets me pretty much have what ever i need, i should start selling the parts on here lol it always seems i have what people need. i just feel bad about making a profit from his years of work.

Thats a good price for the part, I think I paid $60 for 2 of them.
One thing though, unless I just had bad luck those things were impossible for me to reinstall onto the window. I tried for 2 days and finally took them and the window to a mechanic friend of mine who also could not get them onto the window. I eventually gave in and paid the dealer like $400 to redo the window.
Just my experience.

If you do tackle it and get them installed to the window please let us know how it went.

here is thr trick, pay close attention to where and i mean exactly where the parts came off. then you have to get the teeth in the right place, but if you are one off you will know it. what exactly do you want to know? i took the window all out and apart on my last 4runner to install a new motor and clean up the area

If you can't find one let me know I have a full set for the rear window drive off my 88, came with a new gate when I bought it. Will sell the whole thing with motor for $75 plus shipping unless it's under $20 dollars, PM if interested.
