Can you post output pictures? Perhaps there is something wrong with your particular unit. There's always a bad apple out there and maybe your unit is defective or not working properly.

I've had mine in for about a month and can say its an improvement over stock. Definitely not worse IMO.

I'm an H9 retrofit guy here. They work perfect with the stock housing and I've had nothing but improved vision in every condition. Unless you are going to go through the troubles of changing the housing to work with LED'S correctly, then just stick with the old tried and true Halogen. If you need more light off-road, just get some spotlights or light bar.

Same experience here. I actually took out an HID kit, a good one at that with Denso ballasts, to try these 2stroke 2.o bulbs out. Great color, putrid output. You can't even tell they are on at night on the highway. My XB LED foglights, also Morimoto, overpower my low beams.

Now I am waiting on a semi-decent warmish day to REINSTALL the HID kit. It was an interesting experiment, but one that I regret. I can't wait to see again at night.

Morimoto lights are not that good ., i had same issue and i decided to contact vanquishauto for my hids and leds on my fog lights. Can't be happier, I will recommend vanquish auto better!

I didn’t want to jump on the hype but I seriously could not tell if my lights were on with the stock bulbs. Went with these over auxbeam (tons of scatter).

I will admit. The light output isn’t anywhere near why I thought it would be. But I think it is a very significant upgrade. The light color makes things much more visible at night (for me).

Night vision is different for everyone.

I have to echo some of the previous sentiments about individual sensitivity to bulb color and night vision. I have been happy with my install and think it is an improvement. I grabbed a couple of still shots from my security camera and tried to leave something in the pictures so you could get a feel for the scale. The picture without snow is factory bulbs for comparison and almost in the same spot. I know it is not scientific presentation but I believe it is better.

I am satisfied with the 2Strokes for the money, much better than the Philips brighter H11's I first put on my daughter's '18 ORP. I like the color and additional throw, didn't really expect a miracle since this is not a purpose-built replacement full housing.

As I said in another thread, the difference is not nearly as dramatic as when I swapped in a set of JW Speaker into her JK, but I am fine with the Morimoto's, and my daughter noticed the improvement as well, which is more important.

Her low beams might have needed alignment to begin with, I just probably didn't realize the need when the output was marginal with the OEM H11's. I ended up re-aiming the low after the install.

Only concern I have is whether these are adequately cooled since the heat is recirculated inside a confined housing.
