I'm considering switching to these once my Morimoto HIDs burn out. I've never liked HIDs, but couldn't find any LEDs that worked well in the side-mounted projector housing. These look to be almost on par with the HIDs I'm currently running though!

I installed these and snapped a picture to show the temp and brightness difference between the stock bulb and the new 2stroke LED. Definitely brighter and since I have the rigid radiance cubes, they match exactly.

I'm considering leaving the dust caps off to aid in cooling. The Tacomas don't have anything built around their light connections/installation sockets, they are exposed to the engine bay.

Can we see the light output on a wall? I want to see the intensity of the squirrel spotters. I can already tell its a glare-fest for oncoming drivers but i would like to be proven wrong.

Driving in to work today I didn't get flashed once.

Would love to hear more feedback on these. Hard to justify spending the $1200+ on a set of retrofits if these at least offer some better output for a tenth of the price.

What is the optional housing cap extension?

Installed mine today. What an amazing difference. They aren't blinding either and so I don't think there is going to be any issue with me blinding anyone. Install went pretty well, although it was a little tough to twist and turn the prongs in the stock location. So far very pleased with the output and only time will tell how long these last for. I am concerned about heat and how long the fan lasts in the little units which is likely the determining factor.

I chose LEDs over HIDs for simplicity. I didn't want to have to deal with any additional wiring with the ballasts and relays. It's pretty much plug and play with the LEDs. From what I've read the LEDs should also run cooler and last longer but not as bright. It's still quite the improvement over stock.

I'm on the fence whether to buy these. I started my light upgrade with Morimoto XB fog Lights. Then went with Diode Dynamics SL1 for the low beams. The color temps are slightly off, 5700K vs 6000K. The 2Stroke2.0 would be a matching color temperature at 5700K.

Despite slight difference in temperature color, I prefer the 5700K. The very slight blue in 6000K has been bothering me.

Just installed mine. These appear to be very high quality. They are a very nice white. Don’t have any night shots since it’s 918am. The hum from the fan is quite noticeable from the outside and even when sitting inside with the 4Runner off. I think it sounds pretty cool. You can’t hear it when the 4Runner is running though. I’ll post some pics later.

I’m going to compliment these headlights with the LED Tundra fog lights. What’s a great DRL/highbeam bulb that will work well with this combination?

Xenon Depo 9005 extreme LED Pro kit w/the anti flicker module. They are amazing.

Has anyone done any night driving in the rain with these? I have tried a couple of different led lights and when it rains I cant even tell if they are on anymore. I have a really hard time seeing at night to and the best option for me so far has been the h9 halogens but I really want a led that works well with our housings.

I just picked up a '19 ORP. Correct me if I am wrong, but the adapter plug is not needed. The light is an H11 bulb.
