Motor oil dipstick level

Hi,

How far over the full mark on the oil dipstick is too much. I just had my oil changd at the dealer a couple of days ago and just checked it today at the gas station and it measures about 3/16" over the full marker. It that okay for these 4.7L engines or is that enough to start foaming in the crankcase.
