What is the general consensus about "dinosaur oil" vs full synthetic oil for use in the 4.0 L V6 engine ?
Also, is it important to "break-in" (give the rings a chance to seat in) the motor with say 10,000 miles before switching to a full synthetic in my 2010 SR5 4x4 ?
Sorry if I'm rehashing an oil thread, but this is my 1st Japanese vehicle that I have ever owned, since being a GM owner all my life. I just want to do it right with my new 4Runner, since I plan on keeping it forever.
