hey what happend to that "motor swap" thread that popped up last night, the one where they guy was claiming to be a "mechanic" and was gonna put a SC'd V8 out of an 09 into a third gen... and posted pics that almost every one noticed where wrong and we all knew he was full of sh!t... anyhow i was wanting some good humor and comic relief tonight and now im bummed... anyone else bummed...?

Yea im bummed esp. when everyone that posted bashed his ideas and he had no clue about even changing out tranny,ecu or anything. def hope he isnt a Yota mechanic cause I dont want him working on my truck

So what is the point in doing posting a fake thread? I just don't get it.

There is a thread from a guy that swapped a new model V8 into a 3rd gen, and he was legit. I can't remember if it was on pirate, mud, or yotatech. I think it was at least reposted on yotatech. It was ALOT of work though and took him a long time.

Well, on my Farmall tractor board, a guy came on and said he was going to trailer a Farmall M behind a Chevy S10. This is wildly stupid and dangerous given the relative weights of the two machines. He got about five pages of posts telling him he was crazy (or a fraud as people caught on) before someone found him on a John Deere board laughing his tail off and posting the link for other JD morons to enjoy. Internet cheap thrills, I guess....

Is that what goes for brand loyalty? Signing on to a rival board and making yourself look like a moron? That sounds kind of counter-productive.
