Motul Gear Oil- any thoughts?

Has anyone tried any Motul products in their 4th Gen T4R? I was thinking about the Motul Motylgear 75w90 in the front diff and transfer case, and maybe even in the rear diff, unless someone recommends the Motul PA 90 (manual calls for 90).


Some are using the 300V 75w90 gear oil in their T4Rs, but I hear that the semi-syn Motylgear 75w90 is excellent too...maybe better for some vehicles,

Any thoughts?

Motul is excelent, I bought $200 worth of the ester based 8100 X-Max 5W30 for my V6. I know that it is an engine oil and you wanted a gear oil, but my exprience has been great. I would personally go for a full synthetic, group 4 or 5. I would get the get the motul gear 300 75W90 but it's about $30 a quart in Canada... Maybe not so expensive for you! I would have got it but I got the mobil1 75W90 that people often use on T4R.ORG when I did my diffs and transfer cases. Had I known I could get a group 5 based oil, I would have got that.
The 75W90 is a 90 weight oil at full operating temperature and a 75 weight oil before, so it is more (fuel) efficient before it gets to operating temperature and just as viscous as a 90 weight at operating temperature.

I ran Motul 75W90 in the MT and rear diff of my subaru outback. Besides being expensive, i was more than pleased with it. I gained about 1-2 MPG and when i drained it after 50k, it still looked new.

Redline is another very good alternative and I've been using that stuff in my 4Runner for the last 7 years and prior I ran it in my very much abused at the dragstrip AWD Eclipse and I swear by it.
