Mountain/Hill Offroad Trails in Texas??

I am looking for some offroad mountain/hill trails in Texas. Does anyone know where I can find such open trails. I am very new at this and would like to practice some with my new 4R before heading to Colorado. I am not interested in mud or sand........

Hopefully something in the Hill country??

I organize off-road meets around the Houston/Austin area. There are some mild trails in Austin/bastrop area...but i have not gone there. My brother (in Round Rock) will check it out over the next few weeks...and after that, i may organize something for the Hill Country folks.

If you want something more challenging, then check out Katemcy rock.

I drive to central texas all the time, but was wondering if there are any good trails up north. Houston is too far, although it looks like you guys have fun down there. Might have to make a road trip
