Mounting air compresor under hood

I'm looking for threads about mounting an air compressor for inflating tires under the hood. Specificly the MV50. Any help would be appreciated.

Is the ambient temp under the hood too hot for the MV50? How hot does it get under there?

I have my MV50 mounted in there and have had no problem with the heat from the engine....but just in case I added a fan that I mounted on top so it would help to cool it.....

I have the V8 and I mounted mine in a battery box in the back left of the engine bay.....
