Mounting Lights to Rear Bumper

Got a Trail Gear rear bumper for Christmas. Now I am wondering how to mount some auxiliary reverse lights. I really don't want to drill any holes in the bumper. I could mount them to the frame under the truck, like I had them before, but I would rather have them on the bumper somewhere, so the lights can shine unobstructed. I searched the forum and Google images but couldn't really find anything. Has anyone done this, or know of any possibilities?

Well it is the standard Trail Gear rear tube bumper for 1st gens.

And lights mount with a standard bracket and bolt.

I am wondering if running a large diameter hose clamp around the bumper and over the bracket would provide enough support. Only one way to find out! I will try that this weekend. If anyone has any other ideas please let me know.

Like you mentioned OP, I just used hose clamps to mount mine to the tube bumper. Cheap and easy.

If you bought TG light tabs and went to a fab shop... I couldn't see them charging you more than $50, most likely less if you prep the bumper... Might be a more permanent alternative to think about.

I'd use two per bracket if you're going to do that, and if you plan on dragging that bumper over rocks I wouldn't do at all.

And I live in North Florida...we don't really have rocks...

As others have said , pick up a couple of these mounting tabs , prep the bumper (sand the paint off if its painted) and have a welder weld 'em up on your bumper. You could probably get in and out for $25 .

I hear what you're saying about mounting them too far under the truck , like mounting them on the frame . That is what I did . Mine are about 18 inches under the truck , but they are plenty bright LED's from Amazon . I didn't want to mount on bumper like you because I do a lot of crawling and didn't want to rip them off... but here's my setup . They work great.
