moving the A/C controls

ok so can u move the AC controls down to where the headunit is and put the headunit where the A/C controls are.. i feel like my headunit is just sooo low and annoying.. plus it is a flip up so it is just annoying being that low..

i'ld say it looks easy, and is in my plans when my double din screen goes in. keep in my i have been a car audio installer in the past, and am pretty good doing things like this, so what i think is easy may not be for everyone. Do you have a limted or an SR5/base model? Limited may be easier because the climate control should be all electronic, i'm guessing the "lesser" models will have cable operation which may make things slightly harder.

A little fiberglass, a Dremel, some Bondo, and paint and it should be a pretty simple job. Although I, like Stick Figure, have some experience with this type of thing...

You could buy an extra plastic bezel off of a junker and attempt to modify that one, just in case you mess up. That way you will always have the factory original to go back to if you wanted.

or hey for the right price, i'll make you a conversion kit, i don't have much else going on anyway right now lol
