MSRP changed on 4x4 Sport V8

Every resource available to me right now lists the base price for a 4x4 Sport V8 as $32790.

Some sticker prices list it as $32490.

Does anyone know exactly why? I was told by an employee (after 30 minutes of research) that it is because the price was increased and some cars that had not sold yet still carried the lower price.

Sounds possible. But why the difference?!?!

Probably poor exchange rate, the dollar has sucked wind the last couple of years. Just price increases, that's all.

that makes sense if it was just an error. Because my 4runner had the 32490 base listed and the invoice price was the same as listed for the 32790 base (invoice = $29212).

Actually, I was just rying to get rid of the post - I had made an error and would have liked to delete the post but couldn't and the system wouldn't let me alter the post to be blank so I altered it to say error; poor choice of word.

Potential disadvantage of a nearly all-Japanese vehicle

Even the US-assembled Toyotas have significant content from Japan, but the 4Runner may be at more price risk from a weak dollar because it's apparently one of the few that's still assembled in Japan.
