Mstudt's TRD Build & Adventure Thread

I'm not running wheel spacers.

Even without wheel spacers I still rub in reverse just before full lock. This is very common with this size tire, and I know several people that have or have had this issue before doing a little trimming. The wider stance is only going to worsen the rubbing.

has anyone anodized your aluminum LCA's in King blue?

I've been a little quiet on here lately with the 4runner, and thought I'd give a little update on the upgrades.

I recently ditched the Prinsu roof rack, and upgraded to the Sherpa Crestone rack. IMO, the Sherpa rack is hands down a superior rack, and the install was a breeze too. While I have the CVT awning removed for the rack install I went ahead and installed the Overland Pros Wraptor 3K 180 awning. For the money, this is a great awning with a very easy setup.

This was my first year attending Overland Expo as a vendor, and the PNW event was a blast. Of course this meant that I had to come up with a new drawer unit for the 4runner to have on display, and this is the final version. Any 4runner unit sold moving forward will have this same look, but yet still customizable within reason. The drawer faces were upgrade a couple of weeks ago, and the lock opening is finally dialed in.

Here are some pictures of a custom unit that I built at the beginning of summer. I'm working on a compact version of this that'll fit with the rear seats still installed. My goal is to have that complete and on display at Expo PNW in 2024.

I've been neglecting this thread for a bit, and I have quite a bit of updating to do.

I'll start with my new drawer unit that was on display at Expo PNW this past June. Everything was designed and built by myself. All of my drawer units are 100% customizable to suit individual needs. This particular drawer has a complete cooktop with water. It has a built-in water pump, fuse panel, breaker, and more.
