Yeah so the mountain I was planning on summiting on Halloween so I could join the Mazama's Mountaineering Group decided to blow up.... yeah tight, there goes that....

Anyways...

Volcanic Ash
What does one do to keep one's car safe from this super-fine fallout? I've already found power covering my car 3 days already and it just blew up pretty big this mourning at around 9am but the wind took it NE instead of towards me.

I've heard that panty ho's over the air filter can add some protection, but I want some people who have tried it and had it work before I risk my macho manly-ness buying some at the store... and if they even work.

:boink:

It did? I had no idea. Luckily the wind isn't blowing my way. Great question, BTW. Maybe you should get them wet (the "panty ho's" that is). Isn't that what you are supposed to do if you are breathing ash through your mouth?

MT ST Helen's has erupted 3 times atleast already

Magma is on the rise

They say it might keep doing these small explosions for weeks or months even before some real explosive eruptions.

I use a military grade respirator for myself... maybe TRD makes some special forces air filter.

TRD Black Ops Filter : Coming Soon.

Well I dont want to wet my panty ho's quite yet ;)
