mud flaps with plate bumbers?

a quick question for you guys running aftermarket rear bumbers, have you ever been harassed by police for not having some type of mudflap? im considering a cbi hybrid plate bumber but i dont wanna get any stupid tickets or have a problem with getting my truck inspected. thanks guys!

a buddy of mine who rallys a subaru put me onto these and they are cheap@26$ for 4. i guess it dosent look too bad :crybaby:

I know in Canada there is no need for mud flaps. There is no law stating that you require it so I can't imagine them really paying much attention to it.
